Tropical Storm Henri is forecast to strengthen into a hurricane as it heads north toward southern New England this weekend.

Hurricane Watches and Storm Surge Watches are in effect on the south coast. A watch means conditions are possible.

There remains a great deal of uncertainty with regard to Henri’s track which will have a huge impact on who in the northeast sees the strong winds, heavy rain, and storm surge.

Please check back periodically, as the forecast will evolve.

Here is a look at the key take-aways. Damaging winds, flooding rains, and storm surge are all possible.
